Tanya Igesund

Tanya, a member of SAIBA, registered Tax Technician Practitioner with SAIT, a Licenced Independent Reviewer with SAIBA, and a registered Business Accountant in Practice (SA), looks after all our annual financial statements and company and trust tax returns. Tanya has over 30 years’ experience in accounting and tax, with a National Diploma in Accounting.

Sian Midgley

Tax Practitioner and esteemed member of the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT), Sian leads our individual tax department, contributing nearly a decade of invaluable experience. With a National Diploma in Financial Accounting (ICB) and a qualification in taxation (UNISA), she demonstrates a strong foundation in the field of tax expertise.

Ilse Hougaard

Ilse has a BCom degree with 30 years’ of bookkeeping and accounting experience and is head of our bookkeeping and payroll department.

Jonathan Moore

With a fresh perspective, Jonathan started his journey at Collective Accounting on the 8th of January 2024. Having completed a BCom in Accounting and Finance from Varsity College Cape Town, Jonathan aspires to further his studies and attain membership with SAIPA.

Barbara Brown

With a natural flair for numbers, a BCom degree and over 35 years’ experience in a variety of business environments, Barbara is committed to excellent customer service by keeping accurate and precise records of financial transactions. Barbara has been with us at Collective Accounting since October 2022 and has been based in England since October 2023.

Chanan Rouillon

Chanan joined Collective Accounting as an Office Administrator in March 2024, and brings fresh enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail to our team. Chanan holds a BCom in Accounting and Finance from Varsity College Westville, and is dedicated to enhancing our office operations and client service experience.

Britney Smith

A Tax Administrator and distinguished BCom, Financial Management and Bcom Honours student from the IIE's Varsity College specialising in individual tax matters. Britney collaborates seamlessly with Sian to ensure tax concerns are handled with the utmost precision and care. Beyond her role at Collective Accounting, she is currently in the process of publishing her research article titled 'From Tradition to Transformation: Investigating the Traditional Accounting Articles Model.'

Megan Clifton

A dedicated Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator, Megan has been an integral member of our Bookkeeping department for the past three years and is completing her internationally accredited Bachelor of Accounting degree. She has a keen eye for numbers and attention to detail that ensure the precise and accurate maintenance of financial records.

Carla Backe-Hansen

Carla Backe-Hansen joined the Collective Accounting team in May 2024 as an Office Administrator. With an Honours in Psychology from Varsity College/UNISA, Carla excels in Administration, ensuring smooth operations, while applying her psychological insights to enhance workplace dynamics and client relations. Her attention to detail and organisational skills make her an invaluable asset to the team, supporting various functions and contributing to the overall efficiency of Collective Accounting.

Bianca La Grange

Bianca La Grange joined the Collective Accounting team in June 2024, bringing her diverse educational background and keen analytical skills to her role as a Tax Administrator. Bianca holds a General BCom in Management Sciences from Stellenbosch University and a Criminology degree from UNISA. She is passionate about utilising her unique skill set to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our tax services.
